Bridge Community Playschool is a non-discriminatory preschool that embraces the cultural and religious differences of our community and of all children who will attend.  Located in the heart of New York City, we are a non-commercial, non-sectarian and non-partisan organization.

All admissions are reviewed based strictly on the date your application is received by Bridge Community Playschool.

  • 2s  – Child’s 2nd birthday falls between Jan 1 and Sep 30 of the entering school year.
  • 3s  – Child’s 3rd birthday falls between Jan 1 and Dec 31 of the entering school year.
  • 4s  – Child’s 4th birthday falls between Jan 1 and Dec 31 of the entering school year.

2024-2025 Tuition

    • 2s class – 2 mornings (t, th)             $13,300
    • 2s class – 3 mornings  (m,w,f)         $15,300
    • 2s class – 5 mornings (m-f)              $22,500
    • 3s class – 4 mornings (m,t,th,f)       $20,500
    • 3s class – 5 mornings (m-f)              $22,500
    • 4s class – 5 mornings (m-f)              $22,500

A deposit of one-fourth of the full tuition amount is paid with the return of the enrollment contract. The balance of tuition is paid upon notification by the school, in three equal installments on or before April 15, July 15 and September 6. Because a spot is guaranteed for your child upon receipt of the returned contract, all payments are non-refundable.

Extended PM – optional for 3s & 4s

3s and 4s children may enroll in our extended afternoon program and stay until 2:30pm, for either two to five afternoons per week.  Since children change so rapidly during their first year of school, the extended day option is offered in two semesters which gives parents flexibility to add, subtract or keep the same number of extended days.  Costs are based on the number of extended days per week selected:

  • Fall semester (13 weeks):  $1,300/2 days – $1.950/3 days – $2,600/4 days – $3,250/5 days
  • Spring semester (23 weeks):  $2,300/2 days – $3,450/3 days – $4,600/4 days – $5,250/5 days

Applying

We will accept requests for fall 2026 entrance beginning in early September 2025. We have a rolling admissions process and continue to accept applications as long as space is available.

  • Download the BCPS ENROLLMENT INTEREST FORM to your computer.
  • Open the form, fill it out and save your changes.
  • There is no fee to submit the form.
  • Email the completed form as an attachment to: director@bridgeplayschool.org.
  • In your email message, please include your 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice preference for attending an Open House (see below for open house dates).

Open Houses

Attendance for each open house is limited, so when you submit your Enrollment Interest Form please list your 1st, 2nd and 3rd date preference.  After attending the open house, we invite parents to come back to visit the school with their child for an informal one-on-one meeting and a closer look at the daily life of the school.  

Open House dates for 2024-2025 admissions:

  • Thursday, November 9, 2023 – 6:15pm-7:00pm
  • Tuesday,  December 12,2023 – 9:15am-10:00am
  • Monday,  January 8, 2024 – 6:15pm-7:00pm
