Our Programs

Our school year begins in mid-September and ends in early June.  See our 2020-2021 calendar page to get an idea of our yearly schedule:  Calendar

bus iconTwo’s

  • 2 Mornings (T, Th – 9;15 am-11:30 am)
  • 3 Mornings (M,W,F – 9:15 am-11:30 am)

Our two-year old program is designed to enable children, who are transitioning from the toddler stage to becoming young preschoolers, to actively explore their world with confidence and autonomy. They have endless energy and boundless curiosity, so we use developmentally appropriate activities to promote self-help skills such as self-feeding/dressing and caring for toys. The ratio is one lead teacher and one assistant teacher per seven children.  The room capacity is also seven.

Children must have celebrated their 2nd birthday on or before Sept 1 of the entering school year.

Three’s

  • 4 Mornings (M, T, Th, F – 8:45 am-noon)
  • 5 Mornings (M, T, W, Th, F – 8:45 am-noon)

Our three-year-old program is designed to provide an environment that nurtures social skills and encourages confidence and positive self-esteem for children.  Children at this age are very much into peer social interactions and finding a place in the group. The children become active participants in small-group discussions and learn to use materials and activities where they experience success. They learn to work in groups and develop a sense of belonging where they share excitement about learning.  The ratio is one lead teacher and one assistant teacher per twelve children and room capacity is also twelve.

Children must celebrate their 3rd birthday on or before Dec 31 of the entering school year.

Pre-K (4’s)

  • 5 Mornings (M, T, W, Th, F – 8:45 am-noon)

Our Pre-Kindergarten program is a vital building block to kindergarten success.  Children at this stage are establishing independence and are eager and receptive to learn new concepts.  By offering a combination of self-directed and teacher-directed activities, we help children learn to problem solve, develop careful and responsive listening, implement language in learning and build essential collaborative social skills.

Children must celebrate their 4th birthday on or before Dec 31 of the entering school year.

book iconExtended Afternoons-optional

  • Fall Semester (2, 3 or 4 afternoons – noon to 2:40 pm)
  • Spring Semester (2, 3 or 4 afternoons – noon to 2:40 pm)

Children change rapidly during the preschool years and some may not be quite ready for a lengthened week at the beginning of the new school year. So, our optional extended day program is offered by semesters, fall and spring; and parents may select two, three or four afternoons for their child to stay later. This gives parents flexibility to add, subtract or keep the same number of extended days each semester depending on the needs of their child.

Cost is determined by the number of afternoons selected for the fall semester and again for the spring semester.  Extended afternoons are available only for our 3’s and Pre-K’s and there is no extended afternoon on Wednesdays.

See our Tuition & Fees tab for tuition and fees details.
